How to Get to the Marriott Hotel Vancouver Airport - the hotel is actually located in downtown Richmond, BC, a suburb of Vancouver where YVR airport is located. The Marriott has a free shuttle to Vancouver Airport, and the ride takes only 10 minutes.

Directions to Marriott from Vancouver Airport - these directions are slightly different than the Marriott's own directions - these stay away from No. 3 Rd, which can slow you down due to heavy traffic...

  • Exit Vancouver Airport via Grant Mcconachie Way
  • Turn right on Templeton St, then immediately left on Miller Rd
  • Next, turn right at Russ Baker Way
  • Turn left on to Gilbert Rd (you'll drive over a short bridge)
  • Follow Gilbert Rd to Westminster Highway
  • Turn left on Westminster Highway to Minoru Blvd

The Marriott Hotel is on the corner of Westminster Highway and Minoru Blvd. It's in a very good neighborhood that's considered a safe part of Richmond, BC.

Shopping: The Marriott is close to Richmond Center Mall (5 minute walking distance) as well as London Drugs (pharmacy, electronics, etc).

Restaurants: Inside the hotel you'll find the American Grille, which we think is one of the best restaurants in Richmond, BC for American/Northwest dishes and deserts.

Nearby the Marriott Vancouver Airport is the Mad Greek Restaurant, Milestones Restaurant, the Foggy Dew Pub plus many other eating choices at Richmond Center Mall.

Marriott.com listed overnights for $170, but in our research for a queen room low season (April) we found discount rates at the Marriott starting at $144 per night.
