Located in Vancouver at 1100 Chestnut Street in Vanier Park. Rain or Shine the Space Centre is a great place for the whole family, with its interesting displays and the planetarium theater all will have a fun time.

This interesting and exciting architectural building is just the beginning to what awaits you after you enter the Space Centre.

Once you enter you can see that to the left is the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre and to the right is the Museum of Vancouver.

After you enter the Space Centre there's no turning back from the fun and education that awaits you.

Touch the Moon

H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Apollo 17 Lunar Sample

Apollo 17 landed on the moon and had many interesting discovery's, the crew also brought back many Lunar samples.  Here is a piece of the moon, this is 1 of only 4 sample on earth that you can touch. Below are more H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Photos.

Nasa Space Suit

They wore these in space walks and even used these suits to walk on the moon, get a close up view of a real Nasa Space Suit.

J-2 Rocket Engine

The J-2 Rocket Engine was designed in the 1960's and used to propel the Apollo Space Rockets into Space.
