Best Time to See Stanley Park:
Anytime really, but probably the best time to visit the Park is early in the morning, or mid to late afternoon.

When is the Park Open?
Stanley Park is open year round. You can enter and leave the park whenever you like. Most attractions in the Park operate from 7or 8 AM till dusk, except Vancouver Aquarium, which is open from 10AM to 5:30 PM (9:30 to 7:00 in the summer).

Cost:
There is no admission charge, as it is a public park operating free of charge.

1000 acres, or just a little over 400 hectares.

Best Views of Stanley Park/from the Park:
  • Prospect Point - a nice view of Lions Gate Bridge
  • Lions Gate Bridge - you can actually walk across the bridge in the pedestrian lane, and there's great views of the Park, the Seawall, the cities of Vancouver and North Vancouver as well as the mountains and the ocean.

  • Seawall - bring your camera here for sure, as there's great views of downtown Vancouver, Canada Place, the North Shore Mountains and English Bay.


How Much Time Do I Need To See Stanley Park?
Try to spend at least a day in and around the Park. If you're rushed for time, you can see the highlights in an afternoon. A couple days here would really give you a good feel for the Park and it's environs.
