The cheapest way to travel from Vancouver Airport to Whistler is by shuttle bus. 
YVR to Whistler Schedule: 7 departures every day between YVR and Whistler, starting at 8:00 AM, with the last evening departure at 7:30 PM. (If your flight arrives too late and you need to overnight at/near the Airport, try the Fairmont YVR, or the cheaper but nice, new and nearby Sandman Signature Hotel Vancouver Airport).
Where to Purchase Tickets and Board YVR – Whistler Bus: If you’re arriving into Vancouver airport from the USA or International, the Pacific Coach desk is located just after you clear Canada Customs but before you exit into the main Arrivals Hall public area. Whistler Shuttle buses depart just outside the exit doors close by.
