The fastest shuttle bus service from Vancouver International Airport to downtown Vancouver hotels, attractions and the Alaska cruise ship terminal is the Vancouver Airporter.
They are the big green buses you'll see outside with the word "YVR Airporter" on the side.
The buses are clean, comfortable and efficient. This is a very popular service, and the best way to go for those who don't want the hassle of public transit or the expense of a taxi or limo.
What Hours Does the Airporter Operate? From 8:20 AM till approximately 9:45 PM.
Frequency: Very often - You can ride The Airporter Bus to Vancouver every 30 minutes.
Where Does the Airporter Pick Up? It picks up from 2 different places:
- International Terminal - Level 2 Arrivals, just outside the exit doors
- Domestic Terminal - Level 2 Arrivals, past the baggage claim and outside the exit doors.
How Much Does It Cost? For adults, the Airporter costs $13.75 one-way, or $21.50 return. Seinors can ride for $10.75 one-way/$21.50 return. Children travel for $6.50 one-way/$13 return, and the family rate (2 adults and 2 children under 16) is $27.50 one-way/$43 return. They accept Canadian and U.S. cash and all major credit cards.
Where Do You Buy Tickets for the Airporter?
- If you arriving from within Canada, go to the Airporter Bus ticket counter on level 2 just past baggage claim.
- If you are arriving from the USA or overseas, you can purchase them from the Tourist Information counter, which is through the doors past baggage claim and immigration. Or you can get them from the Airporter ticket stand just outside the main exit doors of the international terminal building.
If you arrive very late and the ticket counters are closed, you can buy YVR Airporter Bus tickets directly from the driver.
How Long Does it Take to Ride into Vancouver? The shuttle bus ride from the airport to downtown Vancouver takes about 30 minutes.
What Hotels Does the Airporter Stop and Pick Up From/Drop Off At? All the
major hotels along Granville and Robson Streets in the city. Just ask the driver about the hotel you want.
Does the Airporter Vancouver Bus Stop at the Alaska Cruise Ship Terminal? The Airporter stops at the Pan Pacific Hotel at Canada Place, which is one of the two downtown Vancouver cruise ship terminals. The other cruise ship terminal at Ballantyne Pier is not an Airporter stop, but is only a short taxi ride from Canada Place.
